Coal

At TAM India, we are committed to delivering coal solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency. Our sourcing capabilities span across the globe, allowing us to meet diverse energy demands with agility and precision. We maintain strong, long-standing relationships with leading miners and trading partners in key coal-exporting countries, ensuring seamless access to a wide range of coal grades and timely deliveries.

We have built an extensive and reliable network across Indonesia, one of the world’s leading coal exporters. Our strategic partnerships with prominent miners and traders enable us to offer the complete spectrum of Indonesian coal grades—from very Low Calorific Value (LCV) to Medium and High Calorific Value (HCV) coal.

We source coal from all major Indonesian anchorage points and export terminals. This operational flexibility allows us to customize our supply solutions to meet the exacting needs of our clients—whether for spot or term contracts. Our pricing models are equally versatile, offering both fixed-price and index-linked structures.

Our reputed suppliers from Indonesia include:

  • Rocland Trading (Singapore office) / STARPORT (Jakarta office)
  • Aditya Energy Resources
  • Tiger Energy Trading

Over the last 3–4 years, TAM India has established strong sourcing channels within Australia, known for its high-quality metallurgical and thermal coal. Our Australian portfolio includes both lower CV and medium CV coal, suitable for power generation and industrial use.

Our partnerships with some of Australia’s most respected coal mining companies empower us to cater to a wide range of client requirements across spot and term contracts with flexible pricing options.

Our reputed suppliers from Australia include:

  • Anglo American Metallurgical Coal Ltd
  • Bloomfield Collieries Pty Ltd
  • Jellinbah Group Pty Ltd
  • Hard Rock Coal Mining Pty Ltd

We possess in-depth expertise in the South African coal market, enabling us to procure and trade the full range of coal grades. Whether the requirement is for domestic power utilities or industrial furnaces, we provide tailored sourcing solutions across both spot and long-term contracts.

Just like our Indonesian and Australian operations, we offer both fixed and index-linked pricing structures, delivering competitive value to our clients.

  • Vale S.A.

We are proud to be a trusted coal supplier to some of India’s leading thermal power stations and industrial facilities. Our long-standing relationships with these clients are a testament to our reliability, quality assurance, and customer-centric approach.
